Al Waab
Al Waab ( ar, الوعب, Al Wa‘b) is a district situated between the municipalities of Doha and Al Rayyan in Qatar. The district has witnessed tremendous growth beginning in the mid-1990s, resulting in the construction of numerous residential compounds to house expatriates, villas, and commercial and medical developments. It is a district of Al Rayyan City, which, in turn, is a part of Metropolitan Doha. Located roughly from the Doha's city center, the district is located next to some of Doha's most popular attractions such as the Aspire Zone and Villaggio Mall, both of which are located on Al Waab Street in neighboring Baaya. Gated compounds are very common in this district, numbering at 21 in 2016. Several Western-curriculum schools are located in or adjacent to the district, such as Doha College, Newton International School, and the American School of Doha. Municipalities Of Qatar
Since 2015, Qatar has been divided into eight municipalities. In 2004, a new municipality, Al Daayen, was created under Resolution No. 13, formed from parts of Umm Salal and Al Khawr; at the same time, Al Ghuwariyah was merged with Al Khawr; Al Jumaliyah was merged with Ar Rayyan; Jarayan al Batnah was split between Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah; and Mesaieed was merged with Al Wakrah. In 2014, the western city of Al-Shahaniya split off from Al Rayyan Municipality to form its own municipality. For statistical purposes, the municipalities are further subdivided into 98 zones (as of 2015), which are in turn subdivided into districts and blocks, the latter being the lowest subdivision. Al Aziziya ( ar, العزيزية) is a district in the municipality of Al Rayyan in Qatar, located on the outskirts of Doha. Doha Metro

Abu Hamour ( ar, بوهامور, Abū Hāmūr) is a district in the municipality of Al Rayyan in Qatar. Known to some as the "Wholesale Market District", it is a part of Metropolitan Doha. Etymology In Arabic language, Arabic, "abu" translates to "father" and in this context is used as a prefix for a specific characteristic of the area. The second part of the name, "hamour", is a specific type of fish that occurs commonly in Qatari waters. According to local tradition, the district was named after the type of fish most commonly caught by resident fishermen.
