Al Secord
Alan William Secord (born March 3, 1958) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left wing who played in the National Hockey League for twelve seasons from 1978–79 until 1989–90. He's now a captain for American Airlines, flying Boeing 737s. Playing career Secord played on the 1976 Memorial Cup winning team, Hamilton Fincups of the OHA. Secord was drafted 16th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft. He made the Bruins' roster as a 20-year-old, scoring 16 goals and adding seven assists. He improved to 23 goals in 1979–80, but after failing to score in his first 18 games the following season, he was dealt to the Chicago Blackhawks on December 18, 1980, in a trade for defenceman Mike O'Connell. Mike O'Connell
Michael Thomas O'Connell (born November 25, 1955) is the Director of Pro Development for the Los Angeles Kings. O'Connell was also a former professional ice hockey player and general manager. He played 860 National Hockey League (NHL) regular season games between 1977 and 1990 and later served as the general manager of the Boston Bruins from 2000 until 2006. He is the son of former National Football League (NFL) quarterback Tommy O'Connell and brother of former World Hockey Association (WHA) player Tim O'Connell. The Chicago Cheetahs were a professional roller hockey team based in Chicago, Illinois, United States that played in Roller Hockey International. The Cheetahs joined the league in 1994. The Cheetahs were part-owned by basketball legend George Mikan. Former Chicago Blackhawks star Al Secord was part of the Cheetahs in 1994, as were future Chicago Wolves players Bobby Nardella, Jeff Rohlicek and Tim Breslin. American Hockey League
The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary Minor league#Ice hockey, developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). Keith Edward Carney (born February 3, 1970) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He last played for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL) in the 2007–08 season. Playing career Keith Carney was drafted 76th overall in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres, after attending the prestigious Mount Saint Charles Academy. He then played for the University of Maine. On March 8, 1992, Keith made his NHL debut in a match against the New York Islanders. Robert Paul McGill (born April 27, 1962) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. McGill played in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1981 until 1994. Early life McGill began playing hockey when he moved to Leduc with his family in 1970. He left Leduc to play for the BCJHL’s Abbotsford Flyers in 1978. McGill joined the WHL’s Victoria Cougars from 1979 to 1981, winning the WHL championship in 1981.
