Al MacKenzie
Al MacKenzie is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series ''Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'', portrayed by Henry Simmons. He eventually became the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Publication history Al MacKenzie first appeared in ''Nick Fury vs. S.H.I.E.L.D.'' #3 (Aug. 1988), and was created by Bob Harras and Paul Neary. Leopold James Fitz is a fictional character that originated in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before appearing in Marvel Comics. The character, created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, first appeared in the pilot episode of ''Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'' in September 2013, and has continually been portrayed by Iain De Caestecker.
