Al-Irsyad Mosque
Al-Irsyad Mosque is a mosque located in West Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, within Kota Baru Parahyangan housing complex. The mosque was built in 2009 and completed in 2010. The mosque is shaped as a cube, without a dome. The architects of the mosque are Ridwan Kamil, an architect turned politician who is currently the governor of West Java. West Bandung Regency
West Bandung Regency (''Kabupaten Bandung Barat'') is a landlocked regency of West Java. It was established in 2007, formerly it was part of Bandung Regency. The capital of this new regency is Ngamprah, an industrial district on the west side of Bandung. It is part of the Bandung Metropolitan Area. The area of the regency is 1,305.77 km2 and the population was 1,506,448 at the 2010 Census and 1,788,336 at the 2020 Census. The official estimate as at mid 2021 was 1,814,226. Ridwan Kamil
Mochamad Ridwan Kamil (born 4 October 1971) is an Indonesian architect and politician who is the 15th Governor of West Java, the most populous province of Indonesia. He was also the mayor of Bandung from 2013 to 2018. As an architect, he designed iconic structures in Indonesia and other countries in Asia with his Urbane architectural firm and lectured at the Department of Architecture, Bandung Institute of Technology. Education Kamil spent almost his entire life in Bandung where he went to public schools and studied architecture at Indonesia's leading state engineering school, the Bandung Institute of Technology.
