Al-Ansi
Al-ʿAnsī ( ar, العنسي) is an ancient and prolific tribe originating in the Al Jawf Governorate region of Yemen. After the final breach of the Marib Dam about 570 CE, its members spread across the Arabian Peninsula. Today, members of the tribe are mostly situated in ʿAns, Yemen, with some tribe members residing in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. Fayruz Al-Daylami
Abū ʿAbd Allāh Fayrūz al-Daylamī ( ar, فيروز الديلمي, Persian: فیروز دیلمی, ''Firuz the Daylamite'') was a Persian companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He belonged to the descendants ('' abna''') of Persians that had been sent by Khosrow I to Yemen, conquered it, and drove out the Abyssinians. After Aswad Ansi claimed prophethood in Yemen, proceeded to invade Najran and much of Yemen, attacking Sana'a and the ruler of Yemen and Shahr, who along with the son of Badhan was killed in battle against Aswad, Fayruz was sent out by Muhammad to kill him. The term tribe is used in many different contexts to refer to a category of human social group. The predominant worldwide usage of the term in English language, English is in the discipline of anthropology. Al Jawf ( ar, الجوف ') is a governorate of Yemen. Its capital is Al Hazm. Al Jawf Governorate borders 'Amran Governorate to the west, Sanaa Governorate to the southwest, Ma'rib Governorate to the south, Hadhramaut Governorate to the east, Saudi Arabia to the northeast, and Saada Governorate to the north.
