Ajax Hellas Youth Academy
Ajax Hellas Youth Academy or Ajax Hellas for short was a football youth academy based in Corfu, Greece, from where the organization managed a total of 15 teams throughout Greece and Cyprus. The academy was established in 2011 by Dutch footballing giants Ajax Amsterdam. History On 15 March 2011, the Dutch football club AFC Ajax opened their first youth academies outside of the Netherlands, when the team partnered up with George Kazianis and signing a five-year contract with All-Star Consultancy, to build a total of 15 youth academies throughout Greece and Cyprus. Based on the island of Corfu where the main facility ''Camp Ajax Hellas'' was situated, the academy was managed by Eddie van Schaik, who served as head coach and consultant, working to teach the Ajax footballing philosophy at the various training locations. The Ajax Youth Academy (Dutch: ''Ajax Jeugdopleiding'') is a football youth academy based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from where the organization manages a total of 13 youth teams (ages 7–18). The academy is the primary youth clinic of Dutch football team Ajax Amsterdam. The club depends heavily on the youth academy as they move promising youngsters from the youth teams to the senior team where they can showcase their talent and develop into stars. On 11 September 2020, the CIES released their annual rankings of the clubs having trained the most players active in 31 top divisions of UEFA member associations. The Ajax Youth Academy came in 2nd place to the FK Partizan Academy from Serbia with 77 players footballers trained, while the Serbian side topped the list with 85 footballers trained. Arnold Mühren
Arnold Johannes Hyacinthus Mühren (born 2 June 1951) is a Dutch football manager and former midfielder. His older brother Gerrie, also a midfield player, won three European Cup titles with Ajax in the early 1970s. Mühren is among the few players to have won all three major UEFA-organised club competitions, the European Cup ( 1972–73), the Cup Winners' Cup ( 1986–87) and the UEFA Cup ( 1980–81). The last of these was won with Ipswich Town, while the other titles were won while playing for Ajax. Giannitsa ( el, Γιαννιτσά , in English also Yannitsa, Yenitsa) is the largest city in the regional unit of Pella and the capital of the Pella municipality, in the region of Central Macedonia in northern Greece. Syros
Syros ( el, Σύρος ), also known as Siros or Syra, is a Greek island in the Cyclades, in the Aegean Sea. It is south-east of Athens.
