"Ai No Corrida" (lit. ''Love Race'') is a song by the English singer and multi-instrumentalist Chaz Jankel, written by Jankel and Kenny Young. The title is based on the Japanese title of the erotic film ''In the Realm of the Senses''. It was first recorded in 1980 and featured on Chaz Jankel's debut album ''Chas Jankel (album), Chas Jankel'' for A&M Records. Quincy Jones's 1981 recording of the song was a top 30 hit in the United States, and won the Grammy Award for Best Arrangement, Instrumental and Vocals in 24th Annual Grammy Awards, 1982. Chaz Jankel
Charles Jeremy "Chaz" Jankel (born 16 April 1952) is an English musician. In a music career spanning more than 40 years, he came to prominence in the late 1970s as the guitarist and keyboardist of the rock band Ian Dury and the Blockheads. With Dury, Jankel co-wrote some of the band's best-known songs including "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll", "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick" and " Reasons to Be Cheerful, Part 3". In addition to his work with the Blockheads, Jankel has had a solo career which has resulted in nine studio albums. He has a long list of credits as both a performer and as songwriter. Darren "Daz" Sampson (born 28 November 1974) is a British professional football manager/scout, music producer and broadcaster. Sampson is known for his commercial dance music as part of several groups and his television appearances. He has had nine Top 30 UK singles. ''One World'' is the debut studio album by UK-based dance group Uniting Nations. It was released on November 14, 2005 under Gusto Records. Prior to the release of the album on November 14, 2005, Uniting Nations had seen chart success with two consecutive singles, the debut "Out of Touch" (a Hall & Oates cover song) and the follow-up " You and Me" that both reached respectively #7 and #15 on the UK charts. Uniting Nations are a British dance music act formed in Liverpool in 2004. They achieved chart success across Europe. The act was originally made up of Paul Keenan and Daz Sampson as band members, songwriters and producers. After their 2005 hit "Out of Touch", which was the debut and most successful single of the band, Craig Powell joined in as frontman of the band.
