Ahí Vamos
''Ahí Vamos'' (Spanish for ''There We Go'') is a 2006 studio album by Argentine rock musician Gustavo Cerati. The album was met with both positive reviews by critics and popularity, especially in Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. The first single released from the album was "Crimen", which received airplay starting in April 2006 and gained huge popularity in Latin America and Spain. The second single, released in September was "La Excepción". The album was certified Platinum in Argentina with only pre-ordered sales, and attained Gold status in Mexico. On November 2, 2006, the album received the Latin Grammy for Best Rock Solo Vocal Album and "'' Crimen''" won the category for Best Rock Song. The album was also nominated for Album of the Year, but lost to Shakira's '' Fijación Oral Vol. 1'' (in which Cerati is also featured). Gustavo Cerati
Gustavo Adrián Cerati (11 August 1959 – 4 September 2014) was an Argentine singer-songwriter, composer and producer, considered one of the most important and influential figures of Ibero-American rock. Cerati along with his band Soda Stereo, were one of the most popular and influential rock and pop groups of the 1980s and 1990s. Cerati was the recipient of many awards throughout his career including various Grammys, MTV awards, as well as the MTV (Latin America) Legend Award with Soda Stereo, the first of its kind. On 15 May 2010, Cerati suffered a massive brain stroke in Caracas following a concert; the stroke left him in a coma, and four years later, on 4 September 2014, Cerati died of cardiac arrest in Buenos Aires aged 55.
