Ahsan Malik (cricketer)
Malik Ahsan Ahmad Jamil (born 29 August 1989) is a Dutch cricketer. He played for the Netherlands in the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. Career Malik made his first-class cricket debut against Scotland on 21 June 2011. He also played for the Netherlands national cricket team in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). His Twenty20 International best bowling figures of 5/19 was against South Africa in ICC World Twenty20 2014. He was also the joint top wicket taker in the tournament. He took eleven wickets against Nepal in four T20I matches in July 2015, and was the joint player of the series with Nepal's Paras Khadka. Malik's figures of 5/19 in a T20I are the best by a bowler in a losing cause and are the best figures in a T20 World Cup match in a losing cause. Bowling With An Illegal Action
Throwing, commonly referred to as chucking, is an illegal bowling action in the sport of cricket. This occurs when a Bowler (cricket), bowler straightens the bowling arm when Delivery (cricket), delivering the ball. Throws are not allowed. If the Umpire (cricket), umpire deems that the ball has been thrown, they will call a no-ball, which means the batsman cannot be given out from that delivery. After biomechanical testing showed that all bowlers flex their extended arms to some degree, rules were changed. Current regulations of the International Cricket Council (ICC) set a limit of 15 degrees of permissible straightening of the elbow joint for all bowlers in international cricket. This law applies between the point at which the bowling arm passes above shoulder height and the point at which the ball is released. 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier
The 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier, for the 2016 World Twenty20, was held from 6 to 26 July 2015. The tournament was hosted by both Ireland and Scotland. 51 matches were played among 14 nations, down from 72 matches among 16 nations previously. The tournament formed part of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series, with the top six teams going forward to the qualifying round of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. Matches where both teams had T20I status were recorded as a Twenty20 International match. The teams in this tournament with this status were Scotland, Ireland, Netherlands, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Nepal and Papua New Guinea. Paras Khadka (, ne, पारस खड्का, ; born 24 October 1987) is a Nepalese professional cricketer also known as the god of Nepali cricket. He was the captain of the Nepalese cricket team from 2008 to 2019. All-rounder Khadka is a right-handed batsman, a right-arm medium-fast bowler, and an off break bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against Malaysia in April 2004. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The etymology of "first-class cricket" is unknown, but it was used loosely before it acquired official status in 1895, following a meeting of leading English clubs.
