Ahmed Januzi
Ahmed Januzi (born 8 July 1988) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Kosovar club Prishtina. He previously represented Albania national team, collecting 8 appearances. Club career Early career Ahmed Januzi was born in Vučitrn to Kosovar Albanian parents. Growing up in Vučitrn, Januzi joined the city club, KF Kosova Vushtrri. At the age of nineteen, Januzi joined Albanian Superliga club, Besa Kavajë as a senior. Besa Kavajë Januzi only played for half a season in Albania. He made thirty appearances and scored seven times. During the winter break, Januzi transferred to Vorskla Poltava in February 2007. Vorskla Poltava Januzi made his debut on 7 March 2007, against FC Shakhtar Donetsk at the Donbass Arena. Vučitrn
Vushtrri ( sq-definite, Vushtrria) or Vučitrn ( sr-Cyrl, Вучитрн), is a city and municipality located in the Mitrovica District in northern Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the town of Vushtrri has 26,964 inhabitants, while the municipality has 69,870 inhabitants. Vushtrri is surrounded by the city of Mitrovica to the north, Podujeva in the east, Obiliq in the south, Drenas in the south-west, and Skënderaj in the west. Glentoran Football Club is a professional football club that plays in the NIFL Premiership. The club was founded in 1882. History Early history In 1914, Glentoran won the Vienna Cup, becoming the first United Kingdom team to win a European trophy, although as this competition took place several decades before the formation of UEFA, it is not recognised as such. 1960s George Best watched Glentoran with his grandfather as a youth, but was rejected by the club for being "too small and light". However, Best did make one appearance for Glentoran, in the club's centenary match against Manchester United. The 2011–12 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 21st since its establishment and fourth since its reorganisation. The season began on 8 July 2011 when newly promoted PFC Oleksandria visited FC Vorskla Poltava. FC Shakhtar Donetsk were the defending champions, having won their 6th league title in the 2010–11 season and they successfully defended their title by winning the championship in the last round of the competition. Sports Club Tavriya ( uk, Спортивний клуб "Таврія") was a Ukrainian football club from Simferopol. Tavriya was a member of the Ukrainian Premier League from its founding and won the first Ukrainian Premier League making them one of three teams that have ever held this title. The 2010–11 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 20th since its establishment and third since its reorganization. Shakhtar Donetsk were the defending champions, having won their 5th league title. A total of sixteen teams participated in the competition, fourteen of them contested the 2009–10 season while the remaining two were promoted from the Ukrainian First League. The competition began on 9 July 2010 with four games. After the 19th Round, the competition was suspended for the winter break and resumed on 3 March 2011. Dynamo Kyiv were the defending champions, having won their 13th league title. Football Club Shakhtar Donetsk ( uk, Футбольний клуб «Шахтар» Донецьк , short nickname "miners") is a Ukrainian professional football club from the city of Donetsk. In 2014, due to the War in Donbass, the club was forced to move to Lviv, and had played matches in Lviv (2014–2016) and in Kharkiv (2017–2020) whilst having its office headquarters and training facilities in Kyiv. 2008–09 Ukrainian Cup
The 2008–09 Ukrainian Cup is the 18th annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition, currently known as ''DATAGROUP – Football Ukraine Cup'', or ''Kubok of Ukraine''. The defending champion of this edition is Shakhtar Donetsk. The Ukrainian Cup began with a preliminary round where teams from Druha Liha and Amateur Cup champions participated. In the second preliminary round, teams from Persha Liha were drawn into the competition and then in the round of 32 teams from Premier League entered the competition. Football Club Metalurh Donetsk ( uk, Футбо́льний клуб «Металу́рг» Доне́цьк, ) was a Ukrainian professional football club based in Donetsk that went bankrupt in July 2015. History Club predecessor Football came to the Donetsk region in the time of the Russian Empire when the industrialization of the country began. Numerous foreigners, particularly British workers, were forming their own football teams.
