Ahmed Eid Abdel Malek
Ahmed Eid Abdel Malek Abdou ( ar, أحمد عيد عبد الملك عبده; born May 15, 1980) is an Egyptian retired footballer, who last played for El Gouna in the Egyptian Premier League. He is known for his time at Haras El Hodood and Zamalek. He also played for national side Egypt. He is an attacking midfielder. Club career Early career He started his career in Zamalek youth team and transferred to Aswan. He scored 5 goals in the 2003–04 Egyptian Premier League. Haras El Hodood He joined Alexandria's side Haras El Hodood in 2004. In October 2008, the club won the Egypt Cup after beating ENPPI on penalties in the final. Abdel Malek is also famous for scoring the fastest goal in African football history, finding the net after only ten seconds of the 2006 CAF Confederation Cup game between Haras El Hedood and Guinean side Kalom. Cairo Military Academy Stadium
The Cairo Military Academy Stadium ( ar, إستاد الكلية الحربية بالقاهرة ''Istād al-Kullīyah al-Ḥarbīyah bil-Qāhira'') is located in Cairo, Egypt and has a total capacity of 28,500. It was one of six stadiums used in the 2006 African Cup of Nations, held in Egypt. Seven miles up the road from Cairo International Stadium, heading for Cairo International Airport, there is the Cairo Military Academy Stadium at the far end of Orouba Street in the north-eastern Heliopolis district of Cairo. It was built in 1989 for the use of military teams and students at the military academy. 2010 African Cup Of Nations
The 2010 Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the Orange Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons, was the 27th Africa Cup of Nations, the biennial football championship of Africa ( CAF). It was held in Angola, where it began on 10 January 2010 and concluded on 31 January. In the tournament, the hosts Angola were to be joined by 15 nations who advanced from the qualification process that began in October 2007 and involved 53 African national teams. The withdrawal of Togo after a terrorist attack on their bus upon arriving for the tournament reduced the number of participating nations to 15. A total of 29 games were played, instead of the scheduled 32 games. Egypt won the tournament, their seventh ACN title and an unprecedented third in a row, beating Ghana 1–0 in the final. Hassan Shehata
Hassan Shehata ( ar, حسن شحاتة; born 19 June 1947) is an Egyptian former professional football player. Before retirement he played as a forward. He then became a football manager, who is now retired. Shehata led Egypt to victory in 3 titles, all which were at the African Cup of Nations: 2006, 2008 and 2010. He was the first ever coach to win three consecutive Africa Cup of Nations titles. Shehata is one of only two coaches to win the Africa Cup 3 times, along with Ghana's Charles Gyamfi. Managerial career In 2004, Shehata became Egypt's national team coach after the sacking of Italian coach Marco Tardelli. The 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup was the eighth Confederations Cup, and was held in South Africa from 14 June to 28 June 2009, as a prelude to the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The 2006 Africa Cup of Nations was the 25th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the association football championship of Africa. It was hosted by Egypt.
