Ahmed Abdeen
Ahmed Zaki Abdeen or Abdin is a retired Egyptian military officer and former minister of state for local development in the Qandil cabinet. Career Abdeen is a retired military general. He was appointed head of Dar El-Hayaa El-Handasia which is affiliated with the armed forces. He also worked as an engineer officer in Egypt's Armed Forces and a military attaché at the Egyptian Embassy in Washington, D.C. from 1993 to 1995. He then served as the head of the Egyptian Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, and of the CCAMLR construction cooperatives. He was appointed governor of Beni Suef in 2006. Hisham Qandil
Hesham Mohamed Qandil (also spelled: ''Hisham Kandil''; ar, هشام محمد قنديل ; born 17 September 1962) is an Egyptian engineer and civil servant who was Prime Minister of Egypt from 2012 to 2013. Qandil was appointed as Prime Minister by President Mohamed Morsi on 24 July 2012 and sworn in on 2 August 2012. Qandil previously served as Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation from 2011 to 2012. Reuters reported that Qandil was a politically independent senior public servant in the Morsi administration, but was not popularly considered to be a likely candidate for the position of prime minister. Mohammed Ali Beshr
Mohammed Ali Beshr (also, Bishr; ar, محمد على بشر ; born 14 February 1951) is an Egyptian politician who served as minister of state for local development from 5 January to 4 July 2013. He is one of the prominent figures of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Early life and education Beshr was born in Kafr Mansha Qiwisna, Menoufia Governorate in Egypt, on 14 February 1951. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering, which he received from Menoufia University in 1974. He also obtained a master's degree in power engineering from Shebeen Al Koum Menoufia University in 1979 and a PhD from Colorado State University in 1984. Career Beshr is an academic. The cabinet of Egyptian Prime Minister Hesham Qandil was sworn in on 2 August 2012. Qandil was appointed by President Mohamed Morsi, following the resignation of military-named premier Kamal Ganzouri. The cabinet consists of 36 ministers. The composition of the government is mostly formed by technocrats, with five Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) members and one member each from the Al-Wasat and Renaissance parties. This type of attaché post is normally filled by a high-ranking military officer, who retains a commission while serving with an embassy. Beni Suef ( ar, محافظة بني سويف ') is one of the governorates of Egypt. It is situated in the center of the country. Overview This governorate's capital is the city of Beni Suef, located about 120 km south of Cairo on the west bank of the Nile River. The area is well known in Egypt for its cement factories. Kafr El Sheikh ( arz, كفر الشيخ ) is an Egyptian city and the capital of Kafr El Sheikh Governorate, Egypt, about 134 km north of Cairo, in the Nile Delta of lower Egypt.
