Caroline Mary Aherne (24 December 1963 – 2 July 2016) was an English actress, comedian and writer. Catherine Ita Ahern (; 13 January 1915 – 27 December 2007) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Kerry North constituency from 1977 to 1981 and a Senator from 1964 to 1977.
