Agua Bella
Agua Bella is a female technocumbia music group from Peru. History Agua Bella was created in 1999 by music entrepreneur José Castillo, with the idea to merge the technocumbia music with top female voices and beauty. After castings to hire singers and dancers, the original band was composed by singers Evelyn Campos and Yolanda Medina with some non-regular dancers. Their first CD, ''Cariño Loco'', was a success. Since then, Castillo has worked to keep the band between five and six members between singers and dancers. In 2004, after ten CDs and hundreds of live plays and television appearances, it was announced that Agua Bella was to begin a "new generation". Most of the original members went on an international farewell tour, while the new generation performed their debut tour in Peru. Cumbia refers to a number of musical rhythms and folk dance traditions of Latin America, generally involving musical and cultural elements from American Indigenous peoples, enslaved Africans during colonial times, and Europeans. Technocumbia
Tecnocumbia is a style of Cumbia where there is a fusion between electronic sounds generated by electronic musical instruments through electronic drums, the electric guitar, synthesisers, and samplers. "Tecnocumbia" was a word developed in Mexico to describe this type of music. However, the style of music was developed throughout South America with different names given to it before the name "Tecnocumbia" was adopted as the single denomination for the music. In Mexico, it developed as a variant of the Mexican cumbia that started in the early 1980s. The style added electronic instruments along with samplers to the Mexican cumbia music. One of the first musical groups with electrical 1980s sounds was Super Show de los Vazkez from Veracruz, México, formed in 1981, also, other important exponents were Los Temerarios, Los Bukis, Fito Olivares, among others. Maricarmen Marín
Maricarmen Marín Salinas is a Peruvian actress, cumbia singer, dancer, and TV host. She started as a dancer in the musical show ''"La movida de los Sabados"'' and she became famous as the lead singer of the female technocumbia musical group "Agua Bella". Maricarmen participated in ''El Gran Show'' in 2010. In 2011 she currently stars as Natasha in the América Televisión series ''"Yo no me llamo Natacha"'' (English: "My name is not Natacha") for which she also performed the theme song. She is also currently a solo singer. In 2018, she released her new hit song '' ¿Por Qué Te Fuiste?'' (English: "Why did you leave?") which had airplay success throughout Latin America and Europe.
