Agon Channel
Agon Channel was a private television station from Tirana, Albania, launched on 5 April 2013 by Italian businessman Francesco Becchetti. The Italian version of Agon Channel was launched on 1 December 2014 on the Italian digital terrestrial television network with channel slot 33, as a sister channel of the Albanian Agon Channel. Agon was available in two languages; Albanian and Italian. Italian celebrities such as Simona Ventura, Pupo, Maddalena Corvaglia and Sabrina Ferilli were associated with the station along with Albanian personalities such as Sonila Meço from Vizion Plus, Adi Krasta and Saimir Kodra from Top Channel Top Channel is a national commercial television network based in Tirana, Albania, founded by Dritan Hoxha in 2001. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Kledi Kadiu (born 7 April 1974) is an Albanians, Albanian-born, naturalized Italian dancer, coreographer, dance teacher, and television personality. He is a regular dancer on the popular talent show ''Amici di Maria De Filippi'' (Friends of Maria De Filippi), which is presented by Maria De Filippi on Mediaset's Canale 5. Gentian Zenelaj (born 13 August 1977) is an Albanian actor and comedian mostly known by his appearance in Portokalli (2004-2007) and in Apartment 2XL (2008–2013). He began his career in 2004 in the show Portokalli with the group ShBLSh, when this group was the most preferred sketch in all shows. After 4 season in Portokalli the group ShBLSh broke up and anyone go in their procupetions. After three seasons on Apartment 2XL, the show was canceled, but with the same actors the producer and TV broadcaster created the Sketch Show Albania. Sketch Show aired for two seasons, but this show did not succeed. Then the show changed again on Apartment 2XL and now is airing his sixth season. Standard-definition television (SDTV, SD, often shortened to standard definition) is a television system which uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. "Standard" refers to it being the prevailing specification for broadcast (and later, cable) television in the mid- to late-20th century, and compatible with legacy analog broadcast systems. The two common SDTV signal types are 576i, with 576 interlaced lines of resolution, derived from the European-developed PAL and SECAM systems, and 480i based on the American NTSC system. Common SDTV refresh rates are 25, 29.97 and 30 frames per second. Both systems use a 4:3 aspect ratio. Standards that support digital SDTV broadcast include DVB, ATSC, and ISDB.
