Agnes Chan Tsz-ching
Agnes Chan Tsz-ching (born 14 March 1996) is a Hong Kong rugby union player. She was selected for Hong Kong's squad to the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland. Biography In 2018, Chan made her Hong Kong Women's Sevens debut. It was a qualifier for the 2018–19 Women's Sevens Series. She also featured at the 2019 Hong Kong Women's Sevens as Hong Kong tried to qualify for the 2019–20 Women's Sevens Series. She was named in Hong Kong's sevens squad to the 2021 Asia Women's Sevens Series which acted as a qualifier for the 2022 Sevens World Cup and a seeding event for the 2022 Asian Games. Unfortunately Hong Kong won bronze and did not qualify. 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens
The 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens was the eighth edition of the Rugby World Cup Sevens organised by World Rugby. The 2022 tournament, comprising 24 men's and 16 women's teams as previously, was played over three days in one venue in September. It took place at the Cape Town Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa between 9 and 11 September 2022. It was the first ever Rugby World Cup Sevens in Africa. The dates were chosen to take into account in the Commonwealth Games tournament which took place in July the same year. Hongkongers (), also known as Hong Kongers, Hong Kongese, Hongkongese, Hong Kong citizens and Hong Kong people, typically refers to residents of the territory of Hong Kong; although may also refer to others who were born and/or raised in the territory. The earliest inhabitants of Hong Kong are indigenous villagers, who have lived in the area since before British colonization. Kazakhstan Women's National Rugby Union Team
The Kazakhstan women's national rugby union team is nicknamed ''the Nomads''. It is controlled by the Kazakhstan Rugby Union. History Kazakhstan has competed in six Rugby World Cups between 1994 and 2014. They won the 2014 Asian Four Nations Championship in Hong Kong. Up to 2019, Kazakhstan had only played four international matches since the 2014 World Cup. They defeated China in the 2019 Asia Rugby Women's Championship Division 1 competition and qualified for the 2020 Asia Rugby Women's Championship. The 2020 Asia Rugby Women's Championship was postponed twice before it was cancelled altogether. The Nomads were left to play Hong Kong who later withdrew due to challenges caused by COVID-19. They qualified for the repechage tournament and met Colombia who saw them off with a 18–10 victory in a semifinal berth. The 2021 Asia Rugby Women's Sevens Series was hosted as two tournament events in the United Arab Emirates in late November 2021. Following the cancellation of the 2020 series due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was the twelfth edition of Asia's continental sevens circuit. The first leg of the tournament was a qualifier for the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in South Africa. Japan and China qualified for the World Cup. The lower-tier Trophy tournaments, hosted in Lebanon, Uzbekistan and Thailand served as qualifiers, with the winners eligible to compete in the main series.
