Agenda (Swedish TV Program)
''Agenda'' is a Swedish current events television program broadcast on Sveriges Television. The program debuted in 2001, hosted by Lars Adaktusson. A commentary, a summary of the news week, and a look at upcoming events were initially recurring segments but were later removed. The program has changed timeslots several times but is currently airing Sundays at 21.15 on SVT 2. Sveriges Television AB ("Sweden's Television Stock Company"), shortened to SVT (), is the Sweden, Swedish national public broadcasting, public television broadcaster, funded by a public service tax on personal income set by the Riksdag (national parliament). Prior to 2019, SVT was funded by a television licence fee payable by all owners of television sets. Lars Adaktusson
Lars Göran Peter Adaktusson (born 6 August 1955) is a Swedish politician for the Christian Democrats. He was elected Member of the Riksdag in the 2018 general election. Prior to that, he was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP). Early career An employee of public broadcaster ''Sveriges Television'' (SVT) for many years, Adaktusson has worked both as a reporter and a news anchor for the nightly news show ''Aktuellt'', and has in addition also been stationed as a foreign correspondent in Vienna, Washington DC, and in Amman. SVT 2
SVT2 (SVT Två; commonly referred to as Tvåan), is one of the two main television channels broadcast by Sveriges Television in Sweden. Launched in 1969 by Sveriges Radio, the channel was until the 1990s the most watched in Sweden for many years, but now serves as SVT's specialist television network, carrying more highbrow and minority programming compared to the more mainstream SVT1. History Debate persisted throughout the 1960s over a second Swedish television channel, following the opening of ''Radiotjänst TV'' (later ''Sveriges Radio TV'') in 1956. Karin Hübinette
Karin Ragnhild Maria Hübinette, née Pettersson (18 April 1966 in Sollentuna), is a Swedish journalist and television presenter. She is the sister of politician Hillevi Engström. Hübinette started her career as the presenter of the debate show Svart eller vitt, which was broadcast on TV4 in the mid-1990s. After that she presented Uppdrag granskning and Kvällsöppet, and was also a reporter at Sveriges Radio. She then worked solely for SVT presenting the news shows Agenda and Aktuellt. She is a board member of the company Hands on AB. When her sister Hillevi Engström, who is a politician for the Moderate Party, became secretary of employment after the general elections in 2010, Hübinette had to resign from her work as a journalist at Agenda and Aktuellt. Anna Hedenmo
Anna Birgitta Hedenmo, née Olsson (born 21 March 1961) is a Swedes, Swedish journalist and television presenter who has worked for Sveriges Television, SVT since 1993. She is best known as the presenter of Agenda (Swedish TV program), Agenda and the interview show Min Sanning. She has as well been a news reader for Rapport and Aktuellt. During the 2010 and 2014 General Election in Sweden she and Mats Knutson presented the traditional party leaders interrogations as well as the final debate with all the party leaders.
