''After School'' was a New Zealand children's television programme that aired weekday afternoons on TV One and, later, Network Two from March 1981 to December 1988. It was produced in-house by TVNZ. Olly Ohlson was the original presenter and would host links between various segments and programming. He was the first Māori presenter on New Zealand television to anchor a children's show, and the programme was also one of the first New Zealand shows to incorporate Te Reo, the Māori language, as well as Sign language into its scripts. After School (Hangul: 애프터스쿨) is a South Korean girl group with an admissions and graduation concept formed by Pledis Entertainment. As of December 2019, After School only has one member under the label. According to the group's website however, Raina, Lizzy, E-Young and Kaeun are still members of the group. After School officially debuted in January 2009 with the song "AH!" from the single album '' New Schoolgirl''. Following the addition of Uee in April of that year, they released "Diva", which won the "Rookie of the Month" award at the Cyworld Digital Music Awards. Randy Starr (born Warren Nadel, July 2, 1930) is an American dentist and singer-songwriter known for writing twelve songs for Elvis Presley. Early life Starr was educated at Columbia University where he took his undergraduate degree from Columbia College in 1951, and his DDS degree from Columbia College of Dental Medicine in 1954. Career During the 1950s, he was a member of the American band The Islanders, whose "The Enchanted Sea" was the fifteenth most popular hit in 1959. Starr appeared on television on several occasions. On August 21, 1957, he performed his hit song "After School" in one of his five appearances on American Bandstand. On September 10, 1962 he appeared as the real songwriting dentist on '' To Tell the Truth''. Donald Orlando "Duck" Bailey (March 26, 1933 – October 15, 2013) was an American jazz drummer. Biography Bailey was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on March 26, 1933. He was largely self-taught as a drummer. Bailey got his big break in the jazz world and he is probably best known as the drummer in the trio of jazz organist Jimmy Smith from 1956 to 1964 and also for his work with The Three Sounds on Blue Note Records. While based in Los Angeles, Bailey also worked as a sideman for musicians including Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae, Hampton Hawes, Kenny Burrell, and Red Mitchell.
