Okara, Pakistan
Okara ( Punjabi, ur, ), is the capital city of Okara District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The name Okara is derived from ''Okaan'', which is the name of a type of tree. It is the 23rd largest city of Pakistan by population. The city is located southwest of the city of Lahore and Faisalabad is 100 km bypassing away Ravi River. It is known for its agriculture-based economy and cotton mills. The nearest major city to Okara is Sahiwal, which was formerly known as Montgomery. Kasur is also located in the east of the city. Ali Azmat
Ali Azmat Butt (born 20 April 1970) is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, musician and actor. He is best known as the lead singer for the influential Sufi Rock band Junoon and for his subsequent solo career. In 2001, he became part of the first Pakistani band (Junoon) ever to perform at the United Nations General Assembly. Early life Ali Azmat was born in Havelian, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where his grandfather was posted as station master of Havelian Railway Station, while he grew up in Garhi Shahu, Lahore, into a family of ethnic Kashmiri descent and speaks Punjabi as his native language. Tariq Aziz ( Punjabi, ur, طارق عزیز; 28 April 1936 – 17 June 2020) was a Pakistani television host, poet and film actor, known for PTV's quiz show ''Neelam Ghar'', first aired in 1974, later renamed the ''Tariq Aziz Show'' and lately as ''Bazm-e-Tariq Aziz''. He was known for his iconic line " Dekhti Aankhon,Sunte Kaanon Tariq Aziz ka Salam". He was the first face to appear on television in Pakistan. Anwar Maqsood Hameedi (born 7 September 1939, Urdu:), popularly known as Anwar Maqsood, is a Pakistani scriptwriter, television presenter, satirist, humorist, and infrequent actor. He was well known for his drama write-ups for PTV in the late 1970s and 1980s. Early life and family Anwar Maqsood was born on 7 September 1939 in Hyderabad State. He studied at the Gulbarga Trust School in Aurangabad. His large family migrated to Karachi in 1948, after the creation of Pakistan in 1947.
