Afshin Moghadam
Afshin Moghaddam ( fa, افشین مقدم, 30 September 1945 – 23 July 1976), born Hossein Ahanian Moghaddam, was an Iranian singer. He was best known for his song "Zemestoun (''Winter'')", which came 79th in Manoto 1's "100 Greatest Iranian Songs of All-Time" chart. Moghaddam was killed in a car accident whilst traveling to Amol Amol ( fa, آمل – ; ; also Romanized as Āmol and Amul) is a city and the administrative center of Amol County, Mazandaran Province, Iran, with a population of around 300,000 people. Caltex Records ( fa, کلتکس رکوردز) is a record label based in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1980 by Iranian American immigrant Mehrdad Pakravan. The label focuses on Iranian music. Manoto (Persian: من و تو ) is an international free-to-air Persian language general entertainment channel launched in October 2010, owned by Marjan Television Network. It is based in London and its programs include documentaries, films, series, news and reports. Overview Marjan Television Network was established by Kayvan Abbassi and Marjan Abbassi. Manoto's funding comes from venture capitalists, according to a 2011 report on human rights and information access in Iran by the Foreign Policy Centre, a UK-based independent think tank.
