Afif Hossain
Afif Hossain Dhrubo (Bengali: আফিফ হোসেন ধ্রুব; born 22 September 1999) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. In February 2018, he was named in Bangladesh's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Sri Lanka. He made his T20I debut for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka on 15 February 2018. Early life Afif was a student of the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan, Bangladesh's biggest sports institute, that has also produced the likes of Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Nasir Hossain, etc. He was known as a big-hitter at the U-19 level, and coaches found him similar to Tamim Iqbal. The Chattogram Challengers ( Chittagonian/ bn, চট্টগ্রাম চ্যালেঞ্জার্স) is a franchise cricket team which participates in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The franchise was founded in 2012 & based on Chattogram City, Chattogram. Franchise history The Chattogram franchise joined the BPL as one of its original members in 2012, and appeared in the final in 2013 under the captaincy of Mahmudullah Riyad and coaching of Khaled Mahmud. The team changed its name from Chittagong Kings after a change of ownership in 2015. And Chittagong Vikings was founded 1 December 2015. It was owned by DBL Sports Limited, a concern of DBL Group. 2016–17 Bangladesh Premier League
The 2016 Bangladesh Premier League, also known as BPL 4 and AKS BPL 2016 (for sponsorship reasons) was the fourth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top level professional Twenty20 cricket franchise league in Bangladesh. The competition was organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and featured seven teams. The season originally began on 4 November 2016 and ended on 9 December 2016. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Nasir Hossain ( bn, নাসির হোসেন; born 30 November 1991) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He represents Rangpur Division at domestic level. He made his international debut for Bangladesh in August 2011.
