''Afghanada'' is a Canadian radio drama which aired on CBC Radio One and Sirius Satellite Radio. The 103 episode series began on November 3, 2006, and concluded its sixth and final season on December 30, 2011. Jason Sherman
Jason Sherman (born July 28, 1962 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian playwright and screenwriter. After graduating from the creative writing program at York University in 1985, Sherman co-founded What Publishing with Kevin Connolly, which produced ''what'', a literary magazine that he edited from 1985 to 1990. Before establishing himself as a dramatist, Sherman's journalistic works such as reviews, essays, and interviews appeared in various publications, including ''The Globe and Mail'', ''Canadian Theatre Review'' and '' Theatrum''. Adam Pettle (born 1973) is a Canadian playwright, radio producer, and television writer, most noted as the showrunner and executive producer on the CTV and Ion Television hospital drama ''Saving Hope''. Biography Theatre Born in Toronto in 1973, Pettle is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada's (NTS) playwriting program. He received a BA in theatre from Dalhousie University in 1994. His first play, ''Therac 25'' (1995), is autobiographical – Pettle received extensive treatment for thyroid cancer in the early 1990s. It stages a developing romance in the halls of a cancer treatment unit. Hannah Moscovitch (born June 5, 1978) is a Canadian playwright who rose to national prominence in the 2000s. She is best known for her plays ''East of Berlin'', ''This Is War'', "Old Stock: A Refugee Love Story", and '' Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes'', for which she received the 2021 Governor General's Award for English-language drama.
