''Affinity'' is the second EP by English alternative rock band, Press to Meco. Released on 27 May 2013, the extended play was recorded at The Ranch Production House with Neil Kennedy – who would go on to produce the band's debut album, ''Good Intent "Good Intent" is a song by New Zealand singer/guitarist Kimbra from her debut studio album, ''Vows'' (2011). The song was released in New Zealand and Australia on 15 August 2011 as the third single from the album. The single peaked at number 98 o ...''. Three songs from the EP – "Tired Bones", "Honestly" and title track, "Affinity" – would also later be re-recorded for inclusion on ''Good Intent''. Press To Meco
Press to Meco (sometimes stylised as Press to MECO) was an English band hailing from Crawley and Croydon. The band was known for its fusing of intricate riffs, progressive sensibilities, math-influenced structures, pop choruses and three-part harmonies. History 2011–2014: Career beginnings, early EPs and Download appearances After meeting at college, Press to Meco was formed in 2011 by Luke Caley (guitar/vocals) and Lewis Williams (drums/vocals), rounding out the lineup with Adam Roffey (bass/vocals), a friend of Caley's. Throughout the next couple of years, the band took to the stage up and down the country, including joining Hopeless Heroic on portions of their 200-date tour in 2012 – a year which also saw the release of their self-titled EP, ''Press to Meco''. Progressive Metal

Good Intent (album)
''Good Intent'' is the debut album by English alternative rock band, Press to Meco. Released on 16 October 2015 on Best Before Records, the album was produced by Neil Kennedy. Background and recording Recording initially began during the first half of 2014 with Dan Weller ( SikTh, Enter Shikari) but work had to be halted due to financial problems. Prior to the surfacing of these issues, the band released the track, "Family Ties" as a free download on 10 April 2014 from these sessions. Recording then resumed in October later that year, this time with Neil Kennedy who had handled production of the band's ''Affinity'' EP. Funded through a PledgeMusic campaign, the band achieved 144% of their target, with 5% of the goal being donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust. An additional 10% of the money raised over the targeted amount was also donated.
