Aduthathu
''Aduthathu'' ( Next) is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by Thakkali Srinivasan. The film stars Nassar, Sriman, Vaiyapuri, Ilavarasu, Aarthi and Meenal. The movie is based on Agatha Christie's mystery novel ''And Then There Were None''. There was a controversy that the 2015 Kannada movie ''Aatagara'' is the remake of the film. At this point of time, the team of Aatagara arranged a special screening of the movie for Thakkali Srinivasan in Bangalore. Srinivasan clarified that it is not a remake of his film. He also praised Aatagara of being an extremely well made film. He also revealed that he had made a serial inspired from Agatha Christe's novel ''And Then There Were None'' in 1995. Later he made the film ''Aduthathu'' inspired by the same. For both these, Kannan Parameshwaran worked on the story. Thakkali Srinivasan is an Indian film director, musician and producer who has worked on Tamil films, often involving horror or murder mystery plotlines. Career Thakkali Srinivasan began his career off as a producer and made the science fiction film ''Nalaya Manithan'' (1989) directed by Velu Prabhakaran. The success of the film prompted him to produce a sequel titled ''Adhisaya Manithan'' (1990) with a different cast, and the project did not perform as well commercially. He had also composed music for the films, along with Premi, forming the Premi–Srini duo largely supported by another music director Manachanallur Giridharan. ''Aatagara'' () is a 2015 Indian Kannada mystery thriller film directed by K. M. Chaitanya and produced by Dwarakish Chitra in its 49th production. Vaiyapuri (born 23 October 1968 as Ramakrishnan) is an Indian actor who has worked in Tamil-language films. He rose to fame by appearing in supporting roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s, often portraying supporting comedic characters.
