Adrián Galád
Adrián Galád (born 1970) is a Slovak astronomer and a discoverer of minor planets. He is credited by the Minor Planet Center with the discovery and co-discovery of 81 numbered minor planets between 1995 and 2009, most of them in collaboration with astronomers Dušan Kalmančok, Alexander Pravda, Juraj Tóth, Leonard Kornoš, Peter Kolény and Štefan Gajdoš. 32008 Adriángalád (provisional designation ) is a background asteroid and synchronous binary system from the inner regions of the asteroid belt, approximately in diameter. It was discovered on 29 April 2000, by astronomers with the LINEAR program at Lincoln Laboratory's Experimental Test Site near Socorro, New Mexico, in the United States. The V-type asteroid has a rotation period of 3.0 hours. It was named for Slovak astronomer Adrián Galád. Its 1.6-kilometer sized minor-planet moon was discovered in August 2007.
