Adrián Aldrete
Adrián Alexei Aldrete Rodríguez (born 14 June 1988) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Liga MX club UNAM. Club career Morelia Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Aldrete began his football career with Monarcas Morelia as a defender and midfielder. During his time as a player in Morelia, Mexico U-17 coach Jesús Ramírez spotted young Aldrete and gave him a spot in the Mexico team in the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Cup, which Mexico would win. After his participation in the World Cup, he was loaned to Dorados de Sinaloa for the Clausura 2006 season because he was not used in the first team and he needed to "gain experience". After his six-month loan to Dorados, Aldrete returned to Morelia and made his first appearance on 5 August 2006 under coach Hugo Hernández in a 0–2 defeat against Atlante. Jesús Ramírez (Mexican Footballer)
José de Jesús Ramírez Ruvalcaba (born 21 April 1957) is a Mexican former professional footballer and manager. Previously Ramirez had served under then Mexico national team manager Miguel Mejia as an assistant from 1993 to 1995. In 2005, Ramirez won the U-17 World Cup with Mexico. Ramírez was named caretaker manager of the senior Selección de fútbol de México (Mexico national team) on 31 March 2008, after the sacking of Hugo Sánchez, until the permanent appointment of Sven-Göran Eriksson in June 2008. The Argentina national under-20 football team is the representative of Argentina in FIFA-sponsored tournaments that pertain to that age level. The 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 16th edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup (formerly called the FIFA World Youth Championship), hosted by Canada from 30 June to 22 July 2007. 2007 U-20 World Cup CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament
The 2007 CONCACAF U-20 Qualifying Tournament was held to determine the four CONCACAF entrants into the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which was hosted by Canada. The tournament final was held in two groups of four with the top two from each group advancing. Group A was held in Panama and Group B was held in Mexico. On January 21, 2007, the United States and Panama qualified to the U-20 World Cup. On February 23, 2007, Mexico and Costa Rica achieved qualification as well. Christian de Jesús Bermúdez Gutiérrez (born 26 April 1987), also known as El Hobbit, is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Balls successfully kicked into the goal during a shoot-out do not count as goals for the individual kickers or the team, and are tallied separately from the goals scored during normal play (including extra time, if any). An own goal, also called a self goal, is where a player performs actions that result in them or their team scoring a goal on themselves, often resulting in a point for the opposing team, such as when a football player kicks a ball into their own net or goal, awarding the other team a point. In some parts of the world, the term has become a metaphor for ''any'' action that backfires on the person or group undertaking it, sometimes even carrying a sense of "poetic justice".
