Adriana Benetti
Adriana Benetti (12 December 1919 – 24 February 2016) was an Italian actress. Biography Born in Quacchio, a town east of Ferrara, Benetti graduated from the Istituto Magistrale and then landed in Rome, where she was accepted at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. While there, she was discovered by Vittorio De Sica and subsequently made her debut at age 22 in his 1941 film ''Teresa Venerdì'' as the title character. In 1942, she appeared in director Alessandro Blasetti's celebrated ''Quattro passi fra le nuvole'', where she supported Gino Cervi in Luigi Zampa's ''C'è sempre un ma!'', and '' Avanti c'è posto...'', alongside Andrea Checchi and Aldo Fabrizi. Vittorio Sanipoli (1915–1992) was an Italian stage, film and television actor. He appeared in around a hundred films and television series between 1942 and 1980. Life and career Born Luciano Sanipoli in Genoa, he made his acting debut in 1939 in the Roman Calò's stage company Society of Mystery Shows. Quite soon he was cast in leading roles in dramas, achieving popularity and critical appreciation after World War II for his performances in ''Detective Story'' and ''Anne of the Thousand Days'' (both represented in 1951) and winning a San Genesio Award in 1957, for his performance in Virginio Puecher's ''Il Revisore''. Fosco Giachetti (28 March 1900, in Sesto Fiorentino – 22 December 1974, in Rome) was an Italian actor. Fosco Giachetti was the protagonist of '' Lo squadrone bianco'' (1936), directed by Augusto Genina. Tito Gobbi (24 October 19135 March 1984) was an Italian operatic baritone with an international reputation. He made his operatic debut in Gubbio in 1935 as Count Rodolfo in Bellini's ''La sonnambula'' and quickly appeared in Italy's major opera houses. By the time he retired in 1979 he had acquired a repertoire of almost 100 operatic roles. Gino Bechi (16 October 1913 – 2 February 1993) was an Italian operatic baritone, particularly associated with the Italian repertory, especially in Verdi roles.
