Adrian Juste
Adrian Juste (born 21 April 1947 in Kirby Muxloe, Leicestershire, England) is an English disc jockey and radio presenter who had a Saturday lunchtime programme on BBC Radio 1 from 1978 to 1994. After attending Guthlaxton Grammar School in Wigston with his long time friend, singer Ken Reeves, and taking jobs as a motor mechanic and salesman, Juste began his radio career with Leicester's local BBC station in 1969, moving to Birmingham's BRMB as the breakfast show presenter and then to Radio 1 in 1978, beginning his weekend shows in April 1978. The format of his Radio 1 show consisted of Juste playing clips from various classic comedy sketches, interspersed with his own puns and short sketches, between music tracks. His selection of classic comedy clips was at times quite complex, and intricately produced, using material from a wide variety of sources edited into one sequence. Kirby Muxloe
Kirby Muxloe is a large village and civil parish that forms part of the Blaby district of Leicestershire, England. Located to the west of Leicester, its proximity to the city has resulted in its inclusion in the Leicester Urban Area. The Leicester Forest East parish border runs along the Hinckley Road A47. According to the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 4,523, which had increased to 4,667 at the 2011 census. Richard Matthew Bannister (born 16 March 1957) is a British media executive and broadcaster. Early career After attending King Edward VII School, Sheffield, he graduated in law at the University of Nottingham in 1978, and joined BBC Radio Nottingham as a trainee reporter and subsequently the presenter of its speech-based breakfast show, ''Morning Report''. It was here that he first met Trevor Dann, whom he subsequently worked with at BBC Radio 1. He first worked for Radio 1 as a presenter of its news programme ''Newsbeat'' between 1983 and 1985. Nation Radio East Yorkshire, Formerly GHR Hull & East Yorkshire and KCFM, is an Independent Local Radio station serving Kingston upon Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. This new licence was advertised by Ofcom in 2006. As KCFM, it was owned by the Lincs FM Group. In early 2019, it was sold on to Nation Broadcasting, under the licensed name of Greatest Hits Radio.
