Adrian Flux is an insurance broker that has its head office at East Winch Hall in King's Lynn, Norfolk. Founded in 1973, the company has become the country’s largest specialist motor insurance brokers and employs around 1,800 staff. History The family-run business was formed by Adrian Flux. In 1990, it expanded by creating a specialist motorcycle division called Bikesure. As of 2017, it now has its own office in North Lynn, Norfolk. In 1999, Adrian’s son David took over the running of the company after working his way up from the position of a clerk. In 2005, the company acquired Bishop’s Stortford-based Herts Insurance Consultants (HIC). This has since been rebranded as Sterling Insurance. King's Lynn Stadium, also known as the Adrian Flux Arena and previously as the Norfolk Arena, is a short oval stadium situated to the south of King's Lynn on Saddlebow Road in Norfolk County, England. It currently hosts BriSCA Formula 1 Stock Car Racing, Banger racing, motorcycle speedway and is also a former greyhound racing track. Origins The stadium was constructed in 1951 on the west side of Saddlebow Road next door to a poultry farm. It originally opened for greyhound racing. The Waterfront, Norwich
The Waterfront is a live music venue and nightclub in King Street, Norwich, Norfolk. It is located on the bank of the River Wensum, opposite Norwich Riverside. It has been managed by the Union of UEA Students since 1993. It is not, however, a student club, and entrance is open to the public. The building comprises two floors. Festival Too
Festival Too is a free music festival held yearly in King's Lynn, Norfolk, in the East of England, running throughout July. It has been running since 1985. It is free for anyone to attend, and is funded by donations and through local business support. in the region of 60,000 attend over the three weeks, with headline night audiences reaching 12–14,000 every year allowing it to grow from a budget of around £5000 to around £100,000. Speedway Grand Prix are a series of stand-alone motorcycle speedway events over the course of a season used to determine the Speedway World Champion. The series started in 1995 replacing the previous format of a single event final. The first winner was Hans Nielsen of Denmark.
