Adrian Demain
Adrian Demain (born December 26, 1966) is a professional musician and former professional skateboarder based in the San Diego, California area. Demain rode for Powell Peralta as part of the Bones Brigade in the mid-late 1980s. Demain was featured briefly in skateboarding's first video, The Bones Brigade Video Show, and in 1986 was ranked as skateboarding's amateur vertical champion by the National Skateboard Association. He turned pro for House of Kasai in 1987 and retired in 1991. Demain invented skateboarding tricks including the Judo, Anti-Judo and double-kick backside air. Demain has been performing music professionally since the early 1990s as a guitarist, ukulele player, steel guitarist and singer. For three years he played, recorded and toured the world with Stray Cats' bass player Lee Rocker. Powell Peralta
Powell Peralta is an American skateboard company founded by George Powell and Stacy Peralta in 1978. The company rose to prominence in the 1980s as skateboarding began maturing as a sport. The company featured the Bones Brigade, a team featuring the era's top competitors. Peralta left the company in 1991 and Powell continued to produce skateboard equipment as Powell, Bones Bearings and RollerBones. The two company founders reunited to produce the company's now classic inventory under the name Powell Classic. Skateboard
A skateboard is a type of sports equipment used for skateboarding. They are usually made of a specially designed 7-8 ply maple plywood deck and polyurethane wheels attached to the underside by a pair of skateboarding trucks. The skateboarder moves by pushing with one foot while the other foot remains balanced on the board, or by pumping one's legs in structures such as a bowl or half pipe. A skateboard can also be used by simply standing on the deck while on a downward slope and allowing gravity to propel the board and rider. A skateboarding trick, or simply a trick, is a maneuver performed by manipulating a skateboard, usually with one's feet, in a specific way to achieve the desired outcome – the trick. Stray Cats are an American rockabilly band formed in 1979 by guitarist and vocalist Brian Setzer, double bassist Lee Rocker, and drummer Slim Jim Phantom in the Long Island town of Massapequa, New York. Lee Rocker
Lee Rocker (born Leon Drucker, August 3, 1961) is an American musician. He is a member of the rockabilly revival band Stray Cats. He is the son of the classical clarinetists Stanley Drucker, the late former principal clarinetist of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and Naomi Drucker. As a child, he played the cello and later learned bass guitar. Biography Personal life Lee Rocker was born Leon Drucker in Massapequa, Long Island, New York, in 1961. He is the son of classical clarinetists Stanley and Naomi Drucker. Gregory Page (born April 28, 1963) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Biography Page is the son of a traveling Armenian pop singer whom he would not meet for over 40 years. His Irish mother was the lead singer/saxophone player in one of Britain's first all-girl groups, The Beat-Chics, that toured with The Beatles. Born in North London, England, he was a shy boy, fond of books and pictures, a solitary rambler in the woods and fields around his country home in England. Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys is an American rockabilly and Western swing band from California composed of Robert Williams, alias Big Sandy, Ashley Kingman, Ricky McCann and Kevin Stewart.
