Adam Keighran
Adam Keighran (born 24 April 1997) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a or for the Catalans Dragons in the Betfred Super League. He previously played for the New Zealand Warriors and the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. Background Keighran was born in Sydney, Australia. He played his junior rugby league for the Wyong Roos before being signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Career 2018 Keighran signed a two-year deal in 2017 with the Penrith Panthers, kicking 80 goals for their New South Wales Cup side in 2018 and was picked as one of two Centres of the year despite playing the last 10 games of his season in the halves. The Castleford Tigers are a professional rugby league club in Castleford, West Yorkshire, England, that compete in the Super League, the top-level professional rugby league club competition in the Northern Hemisphere. The club have competed in the top division for the majority of their existence, having only been relegated twice in their history. They have won the Challenge Cup four times. Wakefield Trinity is a professional rugby league club in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, that plays in the Super League. One of the original twenty-two clubs that formed the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895, between 1999 and 2016 the club was known as Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. The Super League (officially known as the Betfred Super League due to sponsorship from Betfred and legally known as Super League Europe), is the top-level of the British rugby league system. At present the league consists of twelve teams, of which eleven are from Northern England, reflecting the sport's geographic heartland within the UK, and one from southern France. The Super League began in 1996, replacing the existing Rugby Football League Championship First Division, First Division and, significantly, switching from a traditional winter season to a summer season.
