Adam Growe
Adam Growe (born July 21, 1967), is a Canadian comedian, licensed Toronto cab driver, and was the host of the Canadian version of ''Cash Cab''. Born in New York, but raised in Vancouver, he has been performing professionally on radio, television and stage for over 20 years. Once a full-time Morning DJ, Growe has since transitioned into stand-up comedy and television. He now resides in Toronto, and while shooting ''Cash Cab'', he made his theatrical debut with ''Adam Growe's The Mom and Pop Shop'', a hit one-man show at the 2008 Toronto Fringe Festival. In 2013, he began touring his live trivia stage show ''The Adam Growe Quiz Show''. He played Superintendent McClellan in the television series ''Monster Warriors''. ''Star Search'' was an American television show that was produced by T.P.E./ Rysher Entertainment from 1983 to 1995, hosted by Ed McMahon, and created by Al Masini. A relaunch was produced by 2929 Productions from 2003 to 2004. On both versions of the show, contestants competed in several genres of entertainment. Discovery HD is the international name of the high-definition television channels owned by Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery. ''Premium Blend'' was a stand-up comedy series created and directed by Paul Miller that aired on the American cable television channel Comedy Central from 1997 to 2005. In 2005 the show was changed, and now known as "Live at Gotham". The show was born out of Comedy Central's attempts to find new comedy stars. These "attempts" were $1,000 to $10,000 dollar productions that allowed unnoticed comedians to share their material. Premium Blend acted as a showcase where most of the material and bits were shown.
