It was entered into the 9th Moscow International Film Festival. Manole Marcus
Manole Marcus (8 January 1928 – 12 October 1994) was a Romanian film director and screenwriter. Many of the actors who starred in his films won awards for their performances. Studies In 1955 he graduated from the National Institute of Theatre and Film "I L Caragiale", and started to make comedy films such as „I do not want to get married” (1960) and "The district of joy" (1964). Professional activity His talent as a director started to be appreciated and recognized after the dramatic tone of films: Virgo (1966), The Canaries and blizzard (1969), Power and truth (1971). The climax of his artistic career came at a time when it was hard to tell the truth easily, (freedom of expression was restricted) and is represented by: Actor and savages (1974) and Operation Monster (1976), a drama and a comedy which sometimes fail to convey emotions through subliminal messages powerful, to make characters. Ion Besoiu
Ion Besoiu (; 11 March 1931 – 18 January 2017) was a Romanian actor. Biography He was born in Sibiu in 1931 and graduated the city's Theater and Music Academy. After making his debut in 1957, he played for 16 years at the Radu Stanca National Theatre in Sibiu. He then moved to Bucharest, where he played at the Bulandra Theatre. He later served for 12 years as director of this well-known theatre. Besoiu appeared in some of the most important Romanian films from the Communist period: "Furtuna", "Neamul Șoimăreștilor", "Haiducii", "Răscoala", "Mihai Viteazul", "Ciprian Porumbescu", "Păcală", "Blestemul pământului, blestemul iubirii", "Ultima noapte de dragoste", "Lumini și umbre", "Ce neagră e mama", and "Toate pânzele sus!". He died at Fundeni Hospital in Bucharest in 2017; he is buried at the city's Bellu Cemetery. Mircea Diaconu
Mircea Diaconu (; born 24 December 1949) is a Romanian actor, writer, and politician. First appearing on stage in 1970, and on screen two years later, Diaconu pursued a lengthy career in both formats, working with a series of prominent directors. He acted in some sixty films through the 2000s, and continued to act in theatre during the ensuing decade. He took part in the Romanian Revolution of 1989. In 2008, he entered electoral politics, becoming a senator, and subsequently serving a term as a Member of the European Parliament. In 2019, he ran for president, placing fourth.
