''Adventures'' is the eighth studio album by Japanese jazz fusion band T-Square, then known as The Square. It was released on April 1, 1984. Released before T-Square would have some of its members, themselves, go on to write and record music for video games (such as Mario Kart 8, both the Arc The Lad and Gran Turismo franchises), this album served as inspiration for game composers at the time of its release. It features the track "Sister Marian", which has been noted for its similarities to the ''Super Mario Bros.'' theme composed by Koji Kondo for the 1985 video game '' Super Mario Bros.''; in a 2001 interview, Kondo cited T-Square as an influence on his compositions. Adventure (Television Album)
''Adventure'' is the second studio album by American rock band Television, released in April 1978 by Elektra Records. Musical style On the album's sound, Mark Deming of AllMusic writes, "Where ''Marquee Moon'' was direct and straightforward in its approach, with the subtleties clearly in the performance and not in the production, ''Adventure'' is a decidedly softer and less aggressive disc, and while John Jansen's production isn't intrusive, it does round off the edges of the band's sound in a way Andy Johns' work on the first album did not." Reception Ken Emerson of ''Rolling Stone'' wrote, "By daring to be different, ''Adventure'' lives up to its title, but it also comes as something of a disappointment because it lacks the jagged tension and mysterious drama that imbued last year's ''Marquee Moon'' with such dark but lucid power." Robert Christgau of ''The Village Voice'' was favorable, writing, "I agree that it's not as urgent, or as satisfying, but that's only to say ...

Adventure (Furslide Album)
''Adventure'' is the first album by the New York City alternative rock band Furslide, released in 1998. It was produced by Nellee Hooper. Critical reception ''The Washington Post'' gave the album a mixed review, writing that singer/guitarist Jennifer Turner "has a strong, expressive rock soprano, and Hooper wraps her songs in a dizzying psychedelic-synth-pop swirl. The problem is the songs, which have neither memorable melodies nor coherent lyrics." ''The Austin Chronicle'' called it "an excellent introduction to pop's latest dynamic frontwoman: Jennifer Turner, a thoughtful songwriter who's perhaps the best female guitar hero since Jen Trynin."
