Abundance Of Life
''Abundance of Life'' (german: Des Lebens Überfluss) is a 1950 West German romantic comedy film directed by Wolfgang Liebeneiner and starring Erika Müller, Ingeborg Körner, and Gunnar Möller. It was one of the last of the Rubble films made in the immediate post-war years. It updates a story by Ludwig Tieck to modern-day Hamburg, addressing the shortage of housing in the heavily bombed city. It was made at the Wandsbek Studios The Wandsbek Studios are film production and television studios located in Wandsbek, a district of the German city of Hamburg. Wolfgang Liebeneiner
Wolfgang Georg Louis Liebeneiner (6 October 1905 – 28 November 1987) was a German actor, film director and theatre director. Beginnings He was born in Lubawka, Liebau in Prussian Silesia. In 1928, he was taught by Otto Falckenberg, the director of the Munich Kammerspiele, in acting and directing. Nazi era In 1936, Liebeneiner became a member of the Konzerthaus Berlin, Prussian State Theater () in Berlin and in 1938, he became artistic director of the German Film Academy Potsdam-Babelsberg, Babelsberg (). In 1941, he directed the film ''Ich klage an'' (''I accuse'') in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda. The film was about Euthanasia, voluntary euthanasia of a woman suffering from multiple sclerosis, but was intended to support the Action T4, T4 euthanasia program. Fritz Kampers
Fritz Kampers (14 July 1891 – 1 September 1950) was a German film actor. He appeared in more than 250 films between 1913 and 1950. Early life Fritz Kampers was the son of a Munich hotel owner, spent his early childhood in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and attended a boarding school in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria. After completing secondary school, he completed a commercial apprenticeship in a textile shop in Munich and at the same time took acting classes with Richard Stury, who presided as president of the Munich experimental stage. After appearances at small suburbs in Munich, such as the Alhambratheater, he wandered through the province and finally found engagements in Alzey, Karlsruhe, Lucerne, Sondershausen, Helmstedt and Aachen. During the First World War he served as a cavalryman on the eastern front, was wounded, fired and joined the front theaters in Warsaw and Łódź. Willibald Alexis, the pseudonym of Georg Wilhelm Heinrich Häring (29 June 179816 December 1871), was a German historical novelist, considered part of the Young Germany movement. Life Alexis was born in Breslau, Silesia. His father, who came of a French refugee family, named Hareng, held a high position in the war department. He attended the Werdersche Gymnasium in Berlin, and then, serving as a volunteer in the campaign of 1815, took part in the siege of the Ardenne fortresses. On his return, he studied law at the University of Berlin and the University of Breslau and entered the legal profession, but he soon abandoned this career and devoted himself to literature.
