The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour commonly known as the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam (ADGS) is a series of international Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournaments (Brazilian jiu-jitsu gi, Gi and No-gi), taking place every year, organised by the United Arab Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) and the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro (AJP) as part of the AJP competition circuit. The events take place in a number of cities around the world. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ; pt, jiu-jitsu brasileiro ) is a self-defence martial art and combat sport based on grappling, ground fighting (ne-waza) and submission holds. BJJ focuses on the skill of taking an opponent to the ground, controlling one's opponent, gaining a dominant position, and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via joint locks or chokeholds. Makuhari Messe
is a Japanese convention center outside Tokyo, located in the Mihama-ku ward of Chiba City, in the northwest corner of Chiba Prefecture. The Copper Box Arena is a multi-sport venue built for the 2012 Summer Olympics, located in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, England. Carioca Arena 1 (Portuguese: ''Arena Carioca 1'') is an indoor stadium in Barra da Tijuca in the west zone of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
