Absolom
Absolom was a Belgian dance project produced by Christophe Chantzis and DJ Jimmy Goldschmitz. The group was popular in Europe by the end of the 1990s. For remixer and main-producer Chantzis the project was his first major effort in the Belgian dance scene. Vocals were done by Pascale Feront who gained some attention by entering the final of The Soundmix Show. A live-act was put together, consisting of singer Pascal Feront, two professional female dancers (Cindy and Ellen) and Christophe Chantzis on keyboard. He also supplied the additional vocals on some singles. Christophe Chantzis produced several remixes under the Absolom project name for artists like Tiësto, Fiocco, Zohra, Praga Khan, DJ Visage, Future Breez and Ace of Base. ”Secret” The debut single “Secret” was Absolom's most successful single. Fiocco (band)
Fiocco was a Belgian Eurodance act by DJ/ producer Jan Vervloet. What started as a studio project became the biggest Belgian dance sensation of 1997. In Belgium their success and thereby popularity was comparable with dance acts as Technotronic and 2 Unlimited. Nearly all of their singles and full-album reached the Gold-status in Belgium. Jan Vervloet mostly worked with guest singers for Fiocco. But on stage the act consisted always of Lieve Verbeeck(vocals), Ann Lomans (singer/frontwoman), Anja Maesen (dancer), Jan Vervloet (keyboards/MC/frontman) and Enzo Fumarola (keyboards), The debut release "Afflitto" became a real club hit which was translated in a No. 1 position for 9 weeks on the Belgian Dance charts. Astroline
Astroline were a Belgian Eurodance project by DJ/producer Bart Smolders, Christophe Chantzis (Absolom, Ian Van Dahl) and Stefan Wuyts (DJ Jimmy Goldschmitz & Heliac), who were together from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s. They are best known for their hit single "Feel The Fire". Vocals were done by Kathleen Goossens. Other producers involved were Gert Corvers and Peter Luts (Lasgo, Ian Van Dahl, Groove Watchers). On stage singer Kathleen Goossens was accompanied by Gert Covers on keyboard and two dancers (An Hoube and Katarina Vincente). Jessy De Smet, whose stage name is Jessy (born 8 July 1976, Zottegem, Belgium), is a Belgian dance music singer of Flemish people, Flemish origin. who had several Music recording sales certification, gold records in the late 1990s and 2000s. AnnaGrace, formerly Ian Van Dahl, was a Belgian progressive house, electro house, and deep house music project fronted by Belgian singer Annemie Coenen and produced by DJ and record producer Peter Luts. Lasgo
Lasgo were a Belgian electronic music group. The group formed in 1999 was composed of Evi Goffin, David Vervoort, Peter Luts, and Dave McCullen). Peter Luts confirmed on Belgian radio in 2008 that Evi Goffin was not returning to the band, after choosing to become a full-time mother. Luts announced around the same time that he was looking for a new vocalist for the band. Together with Belgian TV station JIMtv, he organized a televised search (in similar fashion to talent shows like '' Idols'') for a new vocalist, that came to pick Van Dael as the singer. 2 Fabiola is a Belgian electronic dance music group, formed in 1991 by Pat Krimson (Patrick Claesen) and Zohra. The group got its name from Queen Fabiola of Belgium. The group was noted for its lavish and extravagant clothes and performances. It has also made the charts in the Belgian Ultratop and had success in Spain. In the Ultratop 50 and Ultratop 50, they topped the charts. In 1999, the group took a break. Zohra started a solo career, and Pat Krimson led another project of his, called Nunca.
