Abhishek Kapoor
Abhishek Kapoor (born 6 August 1971) is an Indian film director and producer who works in Hindi cinema. Career He started his career as an actor in 1996 with movies ''Aashique Mastane'', opposite ''Monica Bedi'', directed by ''Ajay Kashyap'' and '' Uff! Yeh Mohabbat'', opposite Twinkle Khanna, directed by Vipin Handa. He made his directorial début with ''Aryan'' in 2006 which was a critical and commercial failure. In 2008, he wrote and directed ''Rock On!!'' an Indian Rock musical film starring Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal that won the "National Award for Best Hindi Film" for outstanding artistic contribution towards cinema. The film went on to become a major success, bringing not just accolades but also a Filmfare Award in 2009. Pragya Kapoor née Yadav, is a Swedish model, actress, and producer. She was born in Borgholm and raised in Karlskrona, Sweden. 54th Filmfare Awards
The 54th Idea Filmfare Awards ceremony, presented by The Times Group and Idea Cellular, was one of India's most prestigious awards ceremony, honoring the best Bollywood films of 2008. It took place on 28 February 2009 at the Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai. Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan hosted the show for the first part, while actresses Konkona Sen Sharma and Deepika Padukone hosted the show in the latter part. It was the first time that any of these actors hosted the awards ceremony. The ceremony was televised in India eight days later, on 8 March 2009. The 56th National Film Awards, presented by Directorate of Film Festivals, the organisation set up by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in India to celebrate the best of Indian Cinema released in the year 2008. ''Rock On 2'' (also known as ''Rock On!! 2'') is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language musical drama film directed by Shujaat Saudagar, and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
