Abhishek Banerjee (politician)
Abhishek Banerjee is an Indian politician. He is a member of the All India Trinamool Congress and he is currently serving as a Member of Parliament, Diamond Harbour (Lok Sabha constituency), South 24 Parganas, West Bengal since 2014. Banerjee has also been the National President of All India Trinamool Youth Congress since 2011, the youth wing of the All India Trinamool Congress, currently in power in the Indian state of West Bengal. Abhishek Banerjee has served as a member of the Standing Committee of Commerce in 2014. He was also selected as a member of the Consultative Committee under the Ministry of Finance and Corporate affairs in 2014. He had served as a member of Railway Convention Committee (R.C.C.) from April 2015 to May 2019. He currently serves as a member of Standing Committee of External Affairs since September 2019. Somendra Nath Mitra (31 December 1941 – 30 July 2020), popularly known as Somen Mitra, was an Indian politician. He was a member of the 15th Lok Sabha, elected from the Diamond Harbour constituency in West Bengal state in 2009 as a Trinamool Congress candidate. He was a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from Sealdah from 1972 to 2006. He was the president of the state unit of the Indian National Congress. The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) is a law enforcement agency and economic intelligence agency responsible for enforcing economic laws and fighting economic crime in India. Diamond Harbour Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Diamond Harbour, West Bengal. It currently competes in CFL 1st Division which is the third tier football league in the state of West Bengal. History TMC politician and Diamond Harbour MP Abhishek Banerjee launched the DHFC in 2022. The IFA allowed DHFC to participate in ''CFL First Division'', third tier of Calcutta Football League.
