Abel José Carvalho Pereira
Abel José Carvalho Pereira (born 15 April 1990) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for ADC Santa Marta de Penaguião as a right-back. Club career Born in Alijó, Vila Real District, Pereira started playing with Atlético Clube Alijoense in his hometown, at age 9. In 2006, he joined S.L. Benfica's under–17 team, where he completed his development. After getting a professional contract, Pereira made his senior debut on loan at C.D. Mafra from the third division. Due to the lack of playing time, he moved to fellow league club C.D. Tondela for the remainder of the season, also on loan. Pereira first reached the professional leagues when Benfica loaned him to Segunda Liga side C.D. Fátima for the 2010–11 campaign. However, after six months without making an appearance, he returned to the third tier with Gondomar SC. Alijó
Alijó () is a municipality in the Norte Region of Portugal, located in the district of Vila Real. The population in 2021 was 10,486, in an area of 297.60 km2. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. The 2014–15 Campeonato Nacional de Seniores was the second season of the third-tier football league in Portugal. It began on August 24, 2014 and finished on June 14, 2015. Overview The league was divided in eight series of 10 clubs placed geographically, with the exception of teams from Madeira Islands (divided through the first series) and from the Azores Islands (divided through the last series). After a First Stage in a home-and-away system, the first two best placed teams of each league played in two groups of 8 teams in a Second Stage with each league winner earning a promotion to the LigaPro, plus a two-round play-off winner between the two second placed teams. Vítor Manuel da Costa Araújo (born 16 February 1966), known as Vítor Paneira, is a Portuguese former football player and manager. A midfielder, he excelled in the late 80s and early 90s with Benfica, to where he arrived from the lower leagues, going on to amass Primeira Liga totals of 335 games and 43 goals over 11 seasons (289/44 in official matches with his main club) – he also appeared for Vitória de Guimarães in the competition. The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division.
