Abdullah Azwar Anas
Abdullah Azwar Anas (born 6 August 1973) is an Indonesian politician who is serving as Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform since September 2022. Before becoming a minister, he was the regent of Banyuwangi, East Java, between 2010 and 2015 and 2016 to 2021. Prior to becoming a regent, he had served as both an elected member of the People's Representative Council and an appointment to the People's Consultative Assembly, for one term each. Born in Banyuwangi, Anas completed his education at the University of Indonesia before joining the Consultative Assembly for 2 years. Later, he was elected in 2004 for a five-year term in the legislative council, and was elected as regent of Banyuwangi after failing to win his re-election. The New Order ( id, Orde Baru, abbreviated ''Orba'') is the term coined by the second Indonesian President Suharto to characterise his administration as he came to power in Transition to the New Order, 1966 until his Fall of Suharto, resignation in 1998. Suharto used this term to contrast his presidency with that of his predecessor Sukarno (retroactively dubbed the "Old Order," or ''Orde Lama''). Madura Island is an Indonesian island off the northeastern coast of Java. The island comprises an area of approximately (administratively 5,379.33 km2 including various smaller islands to the east, southeast and north that are administratively part of Madura's four regencies). Ulema National Awakening Party
The Ulema National Awakening Party ( id, Partai Kebangkitan Nasional Ulama) was an Islamist political party in Indonesia. The party was established by Indonesian ulemas seeking political vehicle to promote Islamic political values while being disillusioned with the National Awakening Party. PKNU's main voter base was members of traditional Muslim organisation Nahdlatul Ulama. Suharto resigned as President of Indonesia on 21 May 1998 following the collapse of support for his 32-year long presidency. Vice President B. J. Habibie took over the presidency. Nahdlatul Ulama (, , NU) is an Islam in Indonesia, Islamic organization in Indonesia. Its membership estimates range from 40 million (2013) to over 95 million (2021), making it the largest Islamic organization in the world.
