Abdul Wahid Durrani
Abdul Wahid Khan Durrani (Urdu, Pashto: ; 30 June 1917 – 24 February 2008), was a Pakistani international footballer and manager. He was the second captain in the history of the Pakistan national football team after the goalkeeper Osman Jan. Playing career Durrani made his debut in Pakistan's first ever international match in 27 October 1950 against Iran in the Amjadiyeh Stadium in Teheran. He later became captain of the Pakistan national football team in the 1952 Colombo Cup, where he scored a goal against Ceylon. Pakistan played its first match against India after victories over Ceylon and Burma, which ended in a goalless draw and emerged as joint winners of the tournament after finishing with the same points in the table. The North-West Frontier Province (NWFP; ps, شمال لویدیځ سرحدي ولایت, ) was a Chief Commissioner's Province of British India, established on 9 November 1901 from the north-western districts of the Punjab Province.
