Abdul Hakeem (city)
Abdul Hakeem (also known as Abdul Hakim), ( ur, ), is a city in Kabirwala Tehsil, Khanewal District in the Punjab (Pakistan), Punjab province of Pakistan. Location The city is situated 10 kilometres from Tulamba and is 3 km from the Ravi River and 28 km from Mian Channu. The tomb of Saint Abdul Hakeem is located in the city centre near Multan road. Famous events The famous event in the city is the yearly Urs of the Saint Abdul Hakeem, held every year from 21 to 23 June. Thousands of the followers of the saint visit the tomb, and a Grand Lok Mela and the List of circuses and circus owners, Lucky Irani Circus take place during the Urs. Sukkur
Sukkur (; ) is a city in the Pakistani province of Sindh along the western bank of the Indus River, directly across from the historic city of Rohri. The M-5 motorway ( ur, ), also known as Multan–Sukkur Motorway ( ur, ), is a north–south motorway in Pakistan, which connects Multan with Sukkur. The motorway is a 392 km long, high-speed (120 km/h), controlled-access, six-lane motorway that forms part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. It is currently the longest motorway in Pakistan. History The approval for the Multan-Sukkur Motorway (M-5) was granted in July 2014, with an estimated cost of Rs. 200 billion. Multan
Multan (; ) is a city in Punjab, Pakistan, on the bank of the Chenab River. Multan is Pakistan's seventh largest city as per the 2017 census, and the major cultural, religious and economic centre of southern Punjab. Shujaabad ( ur, ) is a city and the capital of Shujabad Tehsil of Multan District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located about in south from Multan. China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) (; ur, چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری) is a collection of infrastructure projects that are under construction throughout Pakistan beginning in 2013. Originally valued at $47 billion, the value of CPEC projects is worth $62 billion as of 2020. CPEC is intended to rapidly upgrade Pakistan's required infrastructure and strengthen its economy by the construction of modern transportation networks, numerous energy projects, and special economic zones. The Punjab Bar Council ( ur, ) is a deliberative assembly of lawyers in Punjab. It is established by Parliament of Pakistan and consists of 75 members elected from different constituencies of Punjab.
