Abdihakim Abdullahi Haji Omar ( so, Cabdihakiin Cabdulaahi Xaaji Cumar, ar, عبد الحكيم عبد الله حاجي عمر), also known as Abdihakin Abdullahi Omar Amey, is a Somali politician. Former Vice President of Puntland. Personal life He was the first vice-president of Puntland from the Ararsame clan. His grandfather Omar Camey was assassinated in 1943 in Burao alongside two other Ararsame men, Ahmed Cige and Haybe Kaar by Habar Yunis clan militants. Omar Camey was the chief Caaqil, i.e. ''caaqil guud'' of the Ararsame at the time in the colonial era. Vice President of Puntland Election Omar is a newcomer to politics. Buuhoodle
Buuhoodle ( so, Buuhoodle, ar, بووهودل), also known as Bohotle, is the second largest city in the Togdheer region of Somaliland and also the capital of the Cayn region under Puntland. It is a prominent border town for movements of goods to and from Somaliland and the Somali Region of Ethiopia. The surrounding district is rich in both livestock and fledgeling agriculture. Abdirahman Mohamud Farole
Abdirahman Mohamud Farole ( so, Cabdiraxmaan Maxamuud Faroole; ar, عبد الرحمن محمد; born 1945) is a Somali politician. He served for many years in the government, acting as a governor of the Nugal region of Somalia in the 1990s and later as the Minister of Finance of the autonomous Puntland region in the northeast. From 8 January 2009 to 8 January 2014, Farole was also the President of Puntland. Farole's multipronged efforts at creating provisions and collaboration with international polities and organizations resulted in a drastic decrease in piracy along the Marinka Gardafuul (Guardafui Channel).
