SpangaS
''SpangaS'' (also known as ''SpangaS: De Campus'') was a Dutch youth series, created by the NCRV and the makers of ZOOP. The television series revolved around the lives of a group of students at Spangalis College. Episodes revolved around a wide range of student activities and personal drama during secondary education. The program was similar in format and subject matter to the Canadian series ''DeGrassi'' but with a more lighthearted feel aimed towards tweenagers and younger teens. A ''SpangaS'' movie, ''SpangaS op Survival'', premiered on September 30, 2009. The plot focuses on the students' trip to the Belgian Ardennes. A ''SpangaS'' theater show, ''SpangaS Live!'', ran from April to June 2011. In 2020, the school was replaced by "De Campus", where students slept during weekdays. ''De Verraders'' (Dutch for: ''The Traitors'') is a Dutch television show broadcast by RTL 4 which premiered in 2021. The format of the show is similar to the party game ''Mafia'' and it takes place at and around Castle Erenstein in Kerkrade, Netherlands. The show is presented by Tijl Beckand. Overview In the show, three out of eighteen contestants take on the role of 'Verrader' (Traitor/Betrayer) and all other contestants take on the role of 'Getrouwe' (Faithful). The faithful don't know who the traitors are but viewers of the show are made aware in the first episode. Each night, the traitors gather in secret to decide whom they wish to eliminate from the game; this contestant is said to have been killed and doesn't show up at the next day's morning breakfast. ''Costa!!'' is a 2022 Dutch film directed by Jon Karthaus. The film is not a sequel to the 2001 film ''Costa!'' but it takes place in the same location and has Katja Schuurman as the only original cast member. Karthaus and Diederik Jekel wrote the script of the film. It was the third best visited Dutch film of 2022 with just over 260,000 visitors.
