Abacaxis River
The Abacaxis River is a river in the Amazonas state in north-western Brazil. It is located east of the Madeira River and these two are connected via the Paraná Urariá. Through the Paraná Urariá it is also connected to several other smaller rivers and ultimately Paraná do Ramos, which is a side channel of the Amazon River itself. The Abacaxis River also passes through Lake Guaribas. The river flows through the Acari National Park created by president Dilma Rousseff in 2016 in the last week before her provisional removal from office. Amazonas () is a state of Brazil, located in the North Region in the northwestern corner of the country. It is the largest Brazilian state by area and the 9th largest country subdivision in the world, and the largest in South America, being greater than the areas of Uruguay, Paraguay, and Chile combined. Amazon River
The Amazon River (, ; es, Río Amazonas, pt, Rio Amazonas) in South America is the largest river by discharge volume of water in the world, and the disputed longest river system in the world in comparison to the Nile. The Pau-Rosa National Forest ( pt, Floresta Nacional de Pau-Rosa) is a national forest in the state of Amazonas, Brazil.
