Ab Rauf Yusoh
Datuk Seri Ab Rauf bin Yusoh ( ms, اب رؤوف بن يوسف, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; born 20 September 1961) is a Malaysian politician who has currently served as Senior Member of the Malacca State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under Chief Minister Sulaiman Md Ali since November 2021 and Member of the Malacca State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Tanjung Bidara since November 2021. He served as Speaker of the Malacca State Legislative Assembly from May 2020 to October 2021. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He is State Chairman of Malacca UMNO and BN. The Malaysian United Indigenous Party ( ms, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia), abbreviated BERSATU or PPBM, is a nationalist political party in Malaysia. The party was preceded by the United Indigenous Association of Malaysia (). The Malacca State Executive Council is the State Executive Council (or EXCO) as executive authority of the Government of Malacca, Malaysia. The Council comprises the Chief Minister, appointed by the Governor on the basis that he is able to command a majority in the Malacca State Legislative Assembly, a number of members made up of members of the Assembly, the State Secretary, the State Legal Adviser and the State Financial Officer.
