Aayat (song)
Aayat () is an Indian film song from the soundtrack of the music album of ''Bajirao Mastani''. The usage of the word "Aayat" in the song is to describe Bajirao's love for Mastani by saying I remember you like "Aayat" from Bajirao to Mastani. The song is sung by Arijit Singh and the Qawwali vocals are provided by Mujtaba Aziz Naza, Shadab Faridi, Altamash Faridi and Farhan Sabri. It is composed by filmmaker and music composer Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and the lyrics are penned by A. M. Turaz with Qawwali lyrics by Nasir Faraaz. The music video of the song is picturised upon actress Deepika Padukone (Mastani) and actor Ranveer Singh (Bajirao). Mastani
Mastani (29 August 1699 – 28 April 1740 Common Era, CE) was the daughter of Chhatrasal and Ruhani Bai Begum. She was the second wife of the Maratha Empire, Maratha Peshwa (Prime Minister) Baji Rao I. Her relationship within the Maratha Brahmin family has been subject of both admiration and controversy and well adapted in Indian novels and cinema. Tanay Gajjar is an Indian sound recording engineer who works as a sound engineer in Hindi cinema. Early life and career Tanay Gajjar was born and raised in Mumbai. The 8th Mirchi Music Awards, presented by the Radio Mirchi, honoured the best of Hindi music from the year 2015. Baji Rao I (18 August 1700 – 28 April 1740), born as Visaji, also known as Bajirao Ballal (Pronunciation: ad͡ʒiɾaːʋ bəlːaːɭ, was the 7th Peshwa of the Maratha Empire. During his 20-year tenure as a Peshwa, he defeated Nizam-ul-Mulk at several battles like the Battle of Delhi and Battle of Bhopal. Baji Rao's contributed for Maratha supremacy in southern India and northern India. Thus, he was partly responsible for establishing Maratha power in Gujarat, Malwa, Rajputana and Bundelkhand and liberating Konkan (western coast of India) from the Siddis of Janjira and Portuguese rule.
