Aasaiyil Oru Kaditham
''Aasaiyil Oru Kaditham'' () is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language romantic family drama film directed by Selva. The film stars Prashanth, Kausalya, Anand, and Riva Bubber alongside an ensemble supporting cast including Vivek, Vijayakumar, Sathyapriya, Rajan P. Dev, and Santhana Bharathi. The film was the Tamil remake of Telugu film '' Snehitulu''. The music was composed by Deva with cinematography by K. S. Selvaraj and editing by Venkateswara Rao. Upon the film's release on 17 December 1999, it became a critical and commercial failure. Selva (fl. 1990s) is an Indian director active in Tamil film. He often specializes in film remakes and directed a series of hits the 1990s. His first film '' Thalaivasal'' launched the career of many. Vaiyapuri (born 23 October 1968 as Ramakrishnan) is an Indian actor who has worked in Tamil-language films. He rose to fame by appearing in supporting roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s, often portraying supporting comedic characters. Sujatha Mohan (credited as Sujatha) is an Indian playback singer who is popular for singing in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies. She has also sung for Kannada, Badaga, Hindi and Marathi movies. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet.
