Aaron Fiora
Aaron Fiora (born 19 April 1981) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for and in the Australian Football League (AFL). Richmond career Originally from Naracoorte, South Australia, Fiora played his junior football with Port Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and made his senior debut with Port Adelaide in 1999. Fiora was selected in the 1999 AFL draft at pick number three by the Richmond Football Club. Considered at the time to be one of the most talented young footballers in the world Fiora made his AFL debut in 2000, playing mainly as a wingman and showing pace and excellent oral skills. St Kilda career At the end of 2004 Fiora was traded to St Kilda as part of a deal involving Troy Simmonds and Heath Black. Ross Lyon
Ross Lyon (born 8 November 1966) is a former Australian rules football player and the senior coach of the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously coached St Kilda from 2007 to 2011 and the Fremantle Football Club from 2012 to 2019. He played for Fitzroy and the Brisbane Bears from 1985 to 1995. Playing career Fitzroy Lyon began his career with Fitzroy in 1985. After playing the last five games of the season and the first game in 1986 he missed the remainder of the season and most of 1987 due to groin and back injuries that was later diagnosed as spondylolisthesis. He returned to play 19 games in 1988 and ended up playing 127 games over the next ten years until the end of the 1994 season. The 2008 AFL season was the 112th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. Stephen Powell
Stephen Powell (born 7 September 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League (AFL). A journeyperson in the AFL, Powell made his debut with the Western Bulldogs as a 20-year-old in 1997. He quickly became known as a player whose hardness and aggression at the ball was invaluable, continuing this role as the Bulldogs reached preliminary finals in 1997 and 1998. Surprisingly, at the end of 1999 he was traded went to the Melbourne Football Club much to the dismay of Bulldogs fans, where he immediately became a major contributor in helping them reach a Grand Final in 2000. Despite a bad loss, he was a shining light on the day and the Demons. Powell polled strongly in their Best and Fairest at the end of the year.
